Dan grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. During his early years, he always had a knack for discovering new ideas, challenging thought processes to innovate new ways to solve problems rather than sticking to the status quo, and possessing an entrepreneurial attitude. Throughout his youth, Dan was always seeking ways to build something of his own. He attended the University of Dayton, earning his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, which he later utilized to obtain his professional engineering license in multiple states.

During his final year in college, he became the first-ever intern at a third-party engineering and design company specializing in the oil and gas markets. His impactful contributions during the internship led to a job offer, which he accepted.

After graduation, he relocated from Ohio to Oklahoma, where he worked across various departments of the company, including project engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, and reviewing electrical engineering drawings. Through his hard work and dedication, he steadily advanced to the position of project manager and eventually became the engineering manager of the company. In this role, he made significant financial and personnel decisions.

Throughout his career, many people questioned why he wouldn't leverage his knowledge to start his own firm. After gaining several years of experience, he co-founded Velocity Enterprises, a company dedicated to providing services to clients based on a solid foundation of expertise. Drawing upon the knowledge acquired during his formative years, Dan offers technical, personal, and industry expertise to clients, assisting them in finding optimal solutions for their project needs.
